The Patent Pending technology inside the LIGEO™ hub makes installing LIGEO™ extremely simple, quick, and very safe. The same technology makes LIGEO™ highly versatile and adaptable. Light structures can be assembled quickly, changed frequently, and expanded to match your creative needs.

Each LIGEO™ hub can manage direct connections of up to eight linear light bars. By folding down a locking ring, both the mechanical and electrical connection between hubs and light bars is secured, with the added benefit of still allowing 360 degree free rotation of the attached light bar. The attachable lid closes and locks the hub. Power is supplied through the connection between the hubs and the light bars. Rated at 48V constant voltage, LIGEO™ is in the extra low-voltage,(ELV) range. This ELV means there is no need for professional installers if you want to change your custom LIGEO™ lighting designs. Changes can even be made during operation.

Each light bar has hinges at each end, which gives the light bars a 180 degree range of motion. These hinges also allow designers to create three-dimensional structures and allow for transitions from ceiling to walls and even across corners. The hubs are not only used for linking the lights and routing power, but they also serve as the anchor points for the system assembly. Only one screw is required to secure a hub to a wall or ceiling. In addition to the standard hubs we have two specialised hubs. One was specifically developed for suspended fixtures and the other has magnetic inserts. The caps of the hubs are available in short and tall versions, so wall installations may lay flat against the wall or can extend 20 mm away from the wall to allow accent shading.

The light bars are available in different lengths and colours, offering design and creative freedom. More details can be found in our product brochure.

Designer Dietmar Dix talks about his inspiration for LIGEO™

There have always been two sides to the lighting industry, decorative and commercial lighting. Unfortunately, there’s very little in between. Decorative lighting is designed for homes, bars or other similar situations. These lights create atmosphere and set accents but often produce low quality light. In the work place or industrial settings, you can find high-quality lighting but its visual design doesn’t excite or inspire people. The “gap” between decorative and commercial lighting was the inspiration for LIGEO™. We wanted a system of lights that combined high quality lighting & inspirational design.During the development of the product that fulfilled both needs the designer also developed the Patent Pending “hub” that allows for complete design freedom and flexibility.

LIGEO™ uses energy-efficient LED light with a high colour rendering index. At more than 1,630 lumens per meter, LIGEO™ offers bright usable light output.

The linear LED light assembly is available from daylight to warm white, colour temperature meeting the needs of any lighting situation. For standard compliant work light, we have daylight white light bars at 5,300K. The 4,000k version offers a more neutral light and is universally applicable. The warm light of 3,000K lamps, similar to incandescent or halogen lamps, creates an intimate and welcoming atmosphere for living spaces and hospitality applications.

Regardless of the application each lamp is also dimmable and we have also developed an addressable versions including tunable White, RGBW and pixel addressable allowing for exceptional lighting design versatility.
